What if you were just starting out in World of Warcraft today? Creating a noobie character and attempting to progress from a baby-faced level 1 all the way to the cap of level 80? Is it an overwhelming task to reach the new, high-level Nothrend continent when starting from scratch? Are the older, “Classic” areas ghost towns? Let’s see what fun there is to be had and what adventures unfold! Say hello to “Littleton” - a wee dwarf Hunter from Dun Morough…

Strolling through Goldshire I sighted the Darkmoon Faire, handed over my Free Ticket Voucher and popped in for a quick peek round. Disappointingly, there still wasn’t much for a hunter of my stature to enjoy so I moved along rather quickly. It’s never a good idea to linger with so many carnival folk lurking about anyway.
Back in Darkshire I collected Gooey Spider Legs, the main ingredient for “Crab Cakes”. After the town chef fashioned them into something edible I brought them to the hungry fellow known as “Jitters”. He seemed pleased. Ignorance is bliss, as they say.
I killed the local beasties, looting their corpses for Skeleton Fingers, Spider Venom and Ghoul something-or-others. The things these locals ask me for! I also collected Lean Wolf Flanks as requested by the local militia. At least the flanks can be consumed. What one does with a skeleton finger is beyond me. Perhaps it’s best not to know.
I stumbled upon a crafty goblin merchant named Bliztik in Raven Hill Cemetery. The fella had set up shop in a disused house just outside the graveyard. Can’t say much for his shop’s location, but I was happy to offload some unneeded items on him.
While fighting ghouls, I was engulfed by a flash of light and a new level of knowledge was bestowed upon me. Level 22 had arrived.
I hightailed it off to Stormwind to train new skills and learned Hunter’s Mark 2. While in town, I bought Stormwind Seasoning Spices in a quaint flower shop called Fragrant Flowers.
Sick of my constant lack of carrying space, I splurged at the Auction House and bought a snazzy Netherweave bag for 6g 40s. Thank you fine tailors of the Alliance!
Back in Darkshiire, I heard tale of The Legend of Stalvan Mistmantle and spoke about it with Clerk Daltry. This Mistmantle fellow seems quite the nasty piece of work.
I spent some quality time killing a ton of hungry white wolves and informed Sven and Lars at The Hushed Bank camp when I was done. They were pleased.
I visited a rather creepy hermit in a rickety shack who calls himself Ambercrombie. He needs Ghost Hair Thread for something or other and I’ll see about helping him. I feel strangely compelled to assist the daft old coot.
While killin’ a heap more ghouls in the graveyard – I hit level 23. Not bad for an evening’s work.
Things are progressing along nicely, but damnit, I need a better gun! Unfortunately good firearms have been scarce. Drops and the Auction House haven’t been providing the goods. I will keep a vigilant eye out for a new piece. My peashooter is becoming an embarrassment. Uh, don’t read too much into that last statement.
