STAR TREK ONLINE: According to a post at Eurogamer, Atari and Cryptic have confirmed February, 2010 as the debut date for STAR TREK ONLINE.
It seems almost unbelievable that a Star Trek-based MMO will finally be released in just a few short months. When I launched gamebunny back in 2001, a Trek MMO was rumored and at the top of our most-wanted list. Good gravy, it has taken quite some time to become a reality. Let’s hope STO is worth the wait.
“The confirmation follows Amazon.com and GameStop listing the 2nd February date on their pre-order pages earlier in the week.
‘It’s definitely early 2010,’ executive produce(r) Craig Zinkievich told us last month, and it turns out he wasn’t kidding. Despite his comments, February will be earlier than many expected.”
