WARHAMMER ONLINE: Heads up fans ‘o WAR, for today is a momentous day in WARHAMMER ONLINE’s three-year history. The NDA (Non-Disclosue Agreement) has finally been lifted and Beta testers can spill their guts on all the gory goodness (and air any gripes) they have been experiencing.
First of all, let me point you at gamebunny’s own, Fosef, and his mini WAR Beta screenshot gallery at Photobucket. As for me, I signed up for the WAR Beta over 13 months ago and still haven’t been invited. Not…bitter…at…all.
*Update* Here’s Fosef’s 30 second WAR impressions: “Private Quests (PQs) are a blast…if there are enough people around to kill the boss at the end so you have a shot at some loot. It’s really nice to be able to jump into PvP at any level and be useful. Characters look cool at every level, and they really nailed the feel of looking stronger as you level. Even early on, your armor matches, and you don’t feel like a 3 year old trying to dress him/herself.”
Tobold, of Toblod’s Blog, is fielding visitor’s questions regarding the game.

Warhammer Alliance is an ever-helpful destination to keep an eye on.
Lastly, if you haven’t spotted GameSpy’s huge WAR Journal or Massively’s coverage - clear some time in your schedule. Enjoy!
“Keen & Graev’s Impressions: The artwork and the scope of details put into this game are amazing. I’m constantly stopping and admiring the landscapes and the architecture. From beautiful vistas to desolate battlefield wastelands to something as simple as a bell tower, this game has details layered upon details. It has the perfect ‘Warhammer’ feel that fans of the tabletop and pen/paper games will pick up on and be familiar with from the first minute.”
